Learn Croatian in a small group – Beginner-Intermediate Croatian

This is a course for people who

speak very little Croatian,
can understand more than they can speak
understand words but making full sentences in Croatian is difficult

This course will help you to

make full sentences in Croatian
get you to speak Croatian rather than focus on grammar

This isn’t a typical Croatian online course with a textbook for learning and teacher doing most of the speaking.

I prepare all the materials and after one course, you will already have enough vocabulary and phrases to start using Croatian!

If you’d like to speak and learn Croatian in a small group and aren’t afraid to make mistakes (because that’s the best way to learn), this is the course for you!

It’s a perfect course for you if

grew up listening to Croatian, but can’t speak the language and want to re-connect to your Croatian roots
want to have a basic conversation with you in-laws
want to get ready for your next holiday and be able to order coffee or beer in Croatian, and not English
want to speak and aren’t afraid of making mistakes

If you already speak some Croatian, we will meet for a short Zoom call before, 15-30min. That will give us a chance to meet before the course and for me to check your level, and you can ask any questions you have about the course.

How is the course structured?

There are 10 lessons and we meet on Zoom once a week for 45 minutes.

In case you have to miss one of the lessons, you will get the lesson recording after the lesson.

Every week we cover a different topic so your vocabulary grows and with that your Croatian speaking skills too.

How many people are there in the group?

Groups are small, max 6 students per group so there’s more time to practice speaking.

How much is the course?

There are 10 lessons in this course and the fee is 190€. After the first course there’s an option to continue to a follow-on course.
